TAA Members Featured at Hughes/Donahue Gallery
Sis Denson and Ann Rebello are the featured artists at this Saturday's opening at the Hughes/Donahue Gallery from 1 to 6 p.m. The show will continue on Sunday, August 29, and Saturday and Sunday, September 4 and 5.

Arthur Turcotte Oil Demonstration
At our September 21st meeting Arthur Turcotte will demonstrate his oil painting techniques.
Arthur began painting in 1945 while attending high school. Upon his retirement in 1978, he studied with Middleboro artists Leland Smith and Robert Schofield. Since then Arthur has studied with many artists including Roger Curtis, Robert Cormier, Edward Harrigan and Marshall Joyce.
Arthur has been a member of various art associations including the Bierstadt Art Society of New Bedford and the Old Lyme Art Association of Connecticut. He is a past president of the Taunton and Middleboro Art Associations and was a winner of the Grumbacher Silver Medal Award.
For the past 23 years Arthur has been the art instructor for oil painting at the Middleboro Council on Aging. He enjoys seascapes which were influenced by his childhood in Ocean Grove and his time in the Navy. Currently he enjoys landscape painting “plein air”.
