Calling all aspiring painters and those interested in learning about GOUCHE! Come explore this amazing historic water based medium. You are invited to create for 3 hours in a casual comfortable setting at the Taunton Art Association on Wednesday December 28th, from 10am-1pm!
Instruction will be given on Gouache's history, techniques as well as an opportunity to create a personal piece of art of your own. More info and Materials: Students should be prepared to work from a still life or from an image (students are encouraged to bring a photo to work from) ...magazines for source material will also be provided. Bristol Board, brushes and gouache paint will be provided! Topics covered: History..(with visual examples) General gouache info. Examples of mixing and application techniques. Archival tips. as well as Studio instruction. Zachary Meunier has 6 years of experience painting with Gouache and is an avid Realist Painter/Muralist. This workshop is for ages 13 to Adult.
